Vikings Convert To Christianity
For centuries the Vikings worshiped a variety of gods and deities. However, as they expanded their territories, and built colonies in distant lands, they came into close contact with the rest of Western Europe. Most of Western Europe at this time were Christians. Eventually most Vikings became converted to Christianity as well. Their conversion helped to civilize them in many ways, and introduced them to written language.
