Knighthood
The sons of lords began training for knighthood at the age of 7. By 15 they became squires. A squire was assigned as an apprentice to a knight. He followed the knight around, and assisted him in his duties. When a squire had successfully proven himself in battle, he would be knighted in an elaborate ceremony.

The White House was originally gray. It was first painted white to cover fire damage. This was the first time it was called the White House.
