Between 1400 A.D. and 1800 A.D., three important Muslim empires emerged in Eastern Europe. Using powerful armies, these empires were able to conquer vast stretches of territory. These Muslim empires helped to strengthen Islam in the lands they controlled, and bring stability and economic growth.
These empires were the Ottoman Empire, the Persian Empire, and the Mongul Empire.
